The components above don’t cost more than a few dollars so I don’t think it’s more expensive than getting a new computer.

I must say, though, that it seems to me that by the time one would have fixed up all those little glitches you mentions, s/he would have spent more money than it would take to buy a decent new computer…

I ran win 7 ultimate beta on a celeron 2.7ghz with 1 gig ram.. ran fine, better than vista basic even

If you want to run Windows 7 smoothly. Fist of all don’t forget about the RAM! It is mentioned that a recommended amount of memory is 1GB. But to be honest with you I have purchased 1GB of additional RAM couple of days ago. Because 1gb is really not enough! 2gb – this truly a recommended amount.

Have you taken a look within? Maker sure the fans are fixed properly in place. There are so many online stores to buy a new fan I can’t suggest one; it doesn’t cost you more than a few quid……..

My PC makes noise noise but only for few minutes then it calms down.What may be the cause.Should i change the motherboard fan? Please give online source to buy one.Thanks
