By leaving your computer on for more than 24 hours will not only drain a lot of memory, it will also waste a lot of electricity. CRT monitors absorb more power than a LCD screen but please think about the environment and turn off the computer at night.

I can’t believe there is even any question in anyones mind about the pros and cons of leaving your laptop or computer on all night in sleep mode versus turning it off. Are we really going to wait until Manhattan is 6 feet under water before we start using common sense?
