Comments on: When was the last time you defragmented your computer?

I used to defragment my computer frequently, almost every weekend. But later somehow I just forget the term of defragmentation at all. It is about 3 years now since the last time. Usually I just use the program offer by Windows.I gonna try Diskeeper and thanks for your kind suggestion.

Remember to excercise care when defragging your computer. Make sure that all applications are closed before defragging, and turn off even your anti-virus programs and applications that run silent in background.

I use Diskeeper 2008 and have it set to defragment automatically!

Auto scheduling is just one of the nice things about these commercial defragmenters. I think the ability to defrag while on the go – this is the biggest advantage these commercial defragmenters have.

And since it runs only on idle system resources, your normal computing activities will not be affected either.
