With my experience with ebay, we often advised those who wanted to sell something to look into the closed auctions as well as those that are active at the moment so that they know the trend that is going on with the product that they will be posting in the site. Good timing and pricing is important so that you can be sure that you will be able to sell your product.

I usually go to eBay Pulse to get insights on the hottest items that I can sell or categories to dominate. The great thing about this tool is that it allows you to search in different small niches to help you evaluate the profitability more accurately.

Only downside based on my experience is that I got overwhelmed with so many choices that I ended up picking more than 5 niches to get involved in. And that is not always good if you’re like me with limited resources and time.

Thanks for the tip. Yeah, for some reason,I get stuck thinking that there are other places to find that information, when at the end of the day, it is right there! It’s good to be reminded once in a while that the answers are there right in front of you!

Talking of ebay, my sales have gone through the roof since I’ve been using RSS feeds on my blogs. Simply create a snazzy ebay shop type blog at blogger.com and then get the RSS script from http://ebayrss.blogspot.com and change the ebay id to your own!
