For me, point number 7 is the most important. My firefox is loaded with plus-ins and toolbars which slows up my loading time.

Hey, nice article.

Some of the points make good sense and you can see that they will work.

Some of them are going to require a little trial and error and to see if it actually speeds the connection up, which is what i am going to try so will reply back when i have.

Very interesting thing you said about openDNS. I have an account that i used to use for my home server, so will be trying this now.

Wondering if this make any difference as my ip address is static? so will there be any difference?

Great tip about Fasterfox, I haven’t even heard of it until now. I do utilize a download manager, which I mainly adore due to the “resume” capabilities of broken downloads. Very handy =)
