Right on John. Once you have to transfer your site to a real domain name after it gets established, it will be painful. So, why not start right from the start? If you're serious about your site, I think investing in the necessities should be an easy decision.

I agree, you have to be willing to invest in your ideas. Even if time will be much of the initial investment. I think using free blogger sites... to try out your ideas, get familiar with blogging, decide if it is for you... is fine. But once you want to get serious you really need to get your own domain.

If you can't expend money to develop your business you will need to put a great deal of time into it. Nothing is free in this world. If you can't pay with money you have to pay with your time.

Hi

I agree.

People should by at least a domain name.

I´ve build some free blogs, two years ago, but today, all my new ones have a .com domain, some in a paying host and others in a free host.

Tomorrow they worth more money if they have a .com domain instead of a blogsomething.com domain
