Thank for a great information. I did use blogger when I started out because It seemed easier. But I have now moved all my blogs to wordpress. I feel that I can do much more with wordpress than I could with blogger.

Other good ones are Drupal and Joomla. WordPress has so many advantages in that it makes putting up a site a 5 minute job.

Thanks for sharing this. I prefer to use Wordpress. It makes blogging much easier. I think its the only blogging tool I would ever need.

do you think that all those bugs and of course resource consumption can be decreased with passage of time? I think it still can take many years for wordpress to compete and overcome that.

It’s absolutely necessary to use Wordpress (in my personal experience) I’ve had experience with both and Wordpress has time and time again brought me wonderful results. Just thought I’d throw in my $0.02.

No, Blogger does allow adverts, they give a lot of freedom, but many people prefer using Blogger to spam; that’s the problem.
