To err is technical and to fix is human. And the platform to fix it, is usually the good old Web. Whenever my computer starts behaving weirdly, and I do not have solutions to bring things back in control, then usually, I look for help on the Web. And it is always exciting to get solutions to “most” of your problems at one single place, instead of ten different websites.
Recently, I found one such website which seems to have a huge collection of problems all at one place. That’s right, problems. But with problems, come solutions. Here, you can get easy solutions for your tech problems – log on to Zolved. This is quite a comprehensive service where you can search from among a huge number of solutions to problems submitted by the community. You can find solutions to hardware, software, personal media players, wireless networks, gaming consoles, and even generic Internet problems. I even saw people asking stuff related to their Nokia N Series phones..
The website has troubleshooting solutions, “How To” solutions, and more. The “troubleshooting” ones cover specific problems such as syncing iTunes to Microsoft Windows Vista or answering a query like, “If you could use your Router with your Mac computer, and if yes, then how?”
The “How To” ones help you find manuals and guides for mobile phone models, routers, media players, iPhone problems and such. Stuck with a setup? Just follow the setup solutions listed, and also find links to software, as well as drivers!
If you are still not able to find a way out of your problem, you can ask a “guru” for help. Your problem could be related to camcorders, or to VoIP, or anything which is related to technology (You will have to wait, of course!). So long as it’s a “tech problem,” it should fit.
If you think you won’t be able to explain the real situation in one shot, then you can discuss your problem with other users as well as technical experts on the discussion forum. They have RSS feeds for all their respective categories, and you can subscribe to them at your convenience, although I would love to see “Subscribe via Email” options for various categories. But this is just mainly for those who hate feed readers.
The next time you are about to pull your hairs or something, try and zolve the problem first. Who knows?
